You are invited to attend the first intercampus Cornell University Life Sciences Research Resources Expo, May 14-15, 2008. This will be an exhibition of the Cornell University core facilities that are located at the Ithaca and NYC campuses. There will be presentations on the Ithaca campus on May 14th and on the NYC campus on May 15th. This will be an opportunity for life sciences investigators to meet core facility directors and learn about the resources and services located at both campuses that are available to all investigators to facilitate their research. This will also be an opportunity for networking between core facility directors from both campuses.

The Expo will start on the Ithaca campus on Wed., May 14th, at 11:00 am, with a public seminar on "Life Sciences Research Resources at Cornell University" in G01 Biotech, followed 12:00-4:00 pm by an exhibition of core resources in G10 Biotech. The Expo will continue the next day, Thurs., May 15th, 12:00-4:00 pm, on the NYC campus, with a public exhibition of core resources in the Olin Hall Gym at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Posters describing core facility resources will be available on this web site after the meeting. All poster presenters are encouraged to submit their poster presentations in pdf format. Poster submission does not have to be done at the same time registration. The deadline for submission of poster pdf files is May 9, 2008.

Core facility directors that want to participate in this event should register here. The registration deadline is May 2, 2008. Registration to this meeting WILL BE LIMITED so please register early.

The seminar and poster session are open to the public. No registration is required to attend. There will be an afternoon food reception. Door prizes will include free core facility services! Please come, eat, mingle, and learn about the Cornell University shared resources that are available for life sciences research.
