General Information

The third intercampus Cornell University Life Sciences Research Resources Expo will be held Sept. 19-20, 2011. The Expo is an exhibition of Cornell University core facilities that are located on all the university campuses. There will be presentations on the Ithaca campus on Sept. 19th and on the NYC campus on Sept. 20th. This will be an opportunity for life sciences investigators to meet core facility directors and learn about the resources and services located at all the university campuses that are available to all investigators. This will also be an opportunity for networking between core facility directors from all the university campuses.

The Expo will start on the Ithaca campus on Mon., Sept. 19th, at 11:00 am, with a seminar on "Life Sciences Research Resources at Cornell University" in 226 Weill Hall, followed by a poster session on core resources in G10 Biotech Bldg., 12:00-3:00 pm. The Expo will continue the next day, Tues., Sept. 20th, 12:00-3:00 pm, on the NYC campus, with a poster session on core resources in the Olin Hall Gym at Weill Cornell Medical College. Posters describing core facility resources will be available on this web site after the meeting.

The seminar and poster session are open to the public. No registration is required to attend. There will be pizza and other food at the poster session! Please come, eat, mingle, and learn about the Cornell University shared resources that are available for life sciences research.

The Life Sciences Research Resources Expo is sponsored by the Cornell University Life Sciences Core Laboratories Center and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at Weill Cornell Medical College. We thank Illumina and Affymetrix for their generous support of this event.
